What Can Your Family Explore at Noblesville West?
The Weston School Noblesville West offers programs designed to support children across multiple stages of development—from infancy and toddlerhood through Preschool, Pre-K and school-age care.
During your visit, families can learn more about:
Infant Care
Our infant program provides a warm, nurturing environment with individualized attention, routines, and sensory experiences that support early development and help children begin forming trusting relationships.
Toddler Care
Our toddler program gives young children opportunities to explore growing independence through guided play, movement, music, communication and social interaction.
Preschool
Our Preschool program combines hands-on learning with opportunities to develop skills across literacy, math, science, and social development, helping children build confidence within a caring and structured classroom environment.
Pre-K & Kindergarten Readiness
Our Pre-K program focuses on preparation for kindergarten through experiences involving early reading, problem-solving, and classroom routines, with individualized support from teachers.
Before & After School Care
Noblesville West also provides before and after school care for school-age children, with structured activities, creative learning opportunities, and enrichment in a supervised environment.
Kindergarten Readiness Is a Foundation, Not a Checklist
Recognizing letters and numbers matters.
But watch a child closely, and you’ll see readiness developing in many other ways, too.
Raising their hand because they have something to say.
Working through an activity that takes more than one attempt.
Listening to another child.
Learning how to communicate what they need.
Following a classroom routine.
Writing their name.
Solving a problem.
Trying something new.
Becoming increasingly comfortable walking into a classroom and participating independently.
These ordinary moments can become meaningful parts of a child’s development.
Weston’s Pre-K developmental goals extend across social-emotional development, self-regulation, communication, reasoning, literacy, mathematics, and physical development.
That’s why we think about kindergarten readiness as more than preparing children for one particular day.
We’re helping children continue building a foundation for learning, confidence, curiosity and independence.
Learning Through Play With Purpose
Children naturally want to explore.
They ask questions. Build things. Pretend. Experiment. Tell stories. Work together. Make mistakes and try again.
Those moments create opportunities for meaningful learning.
The Weston School combines play-based learning with structured instruction to support school readiness, including experiences involving numbers and letters, creative arts, hands-on science, social-emotional development, outdoor play, and motor development.
Our broader educational approach focuses on the whole child—supporting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth rather than reducing early education to academics alone.
During the Open House, you’ll have an opportunity to see the environments where that learning takes place and talk with the people responsible for creating those experiences.
School and Home Working Together
Children don’t stop learning when they leave the classroom.
That’s one reason partnership with families matters so much.
At The Weston School, families stay connected to their child’s learning and progress through communication, parent-teacher conferences, reports, learning updates, and opportunities to extend learning at home.
Our educational materials reinforce that the school and home environments are two important parts of a child’s life and that sharing goals and resources with families strengthens that partnership.
The Fall Open House gives you an opportunity to begin that conversation before making an enrollment decision.
