OMAR KHAN

(CEO)

Omar brings over a decade of experience in early childhood education combined with a strong business acumen and foundation in turnaround management. With an MBA from The Kelley School of Business and a Six Sigma Green Belt in Operations, Omar excels in business strategy, developing strategic relationships, and enhancing company culture.

His background in change management and consulting for small to midsize businesses allows him to drive impactful change and foster growth. As a leader, Omar is committed to creating the best early childhood education team of professionals to create the inspiring educational environment at The Weston School.

Nich brings a wealth of operational expertise to the early childhood education field, built upon his 18 years of experience at a Fortune 50 company. His background in leading diverse teams, organizational effectiveness, and project management spans roles from front-line to enterprise-level responsibilities, supporting over 1,750 retail locations. Nich believes that leveraging data, analytics, and insights from staff is key to proactively enhancing people, processes, and productivity.

Inspired by his wife’s 13+ years in early childhood education, he is dedicated to creating an environment that empowers and values educators, understanding the heart of a teacher’s work firsthand. His strategic approach ensures The Weston School’s operations remain both efficient and aligned with its mission of high-quality education.

Amy brings nearly 30 years of experience in early childhood education, with a rich background that includes family engagement, licensing and compliance, and director-level leadership. Her career spans roles as a preschool and kindergarten teacher, education director, and regional state licensing director, where she not only engaged young learners but also developed and delivered training for adult learners across the state.

Amy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Consumer and Family Sciences with an endorsement in Kindergarten from Purdue University, and her dedication to high standards and quality education helps ensure The Weston School remains a trusted leader in early learning.

Jamison brings over 25 years of HR expertise shaped by his experience in the Army, mortgage and real estate, and a long tenure in retail. Jamison has successfully built HR functions from the ground up in contact centers and retail locations, and his leadership of teams—over 12 direct reports and HR processes for more than 2,000 employees—has honed his skills in identifying gaps and implementing scalable solutions across people, processes, and technology.

Known for his strengths in coaching, onboarding, and competency-based development, Jamison has developed talent across all levels, from entry-level to executive roles, creating frameworks that drive skill growth and retention. His strategic approach to people development and cost-effective HR solutions is instrumental to The Weston School’s commitment to excellence.

DANA QUERY

Dana brings over 25 years of experience in early childhood education. With a degree in Early Childhood Education and studies at Purdue University and Ivy Tech, Dana combines her educational background with hands-on expertise. Over her 11 years at The Weston School, Dana has advanced through nearly every position, developing a deep understanding of the school’s operations and a strong commitment to providing high-quality early childhood experiences.

Known for her operational skills and passion for excellence, Dana plays a pivotal role in ensuring that every aspect of The Weston School’s business operations supports the mission of outstanding care and education.

JULIE NEWCOMER

Julie brings 12 years of dedicated experience in early childhood education, having started as a teacher and worked in nearly every role before advancing to her current position overseeing location directors. After studying Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Family Studies at Ball State University, Julie has focused on driving operational excellence and outcomes across our centers.

Her talent for building relationships, aligned with our core behaviors, enables her to secure buy-in and achieve results with both children and clients in mind. As both a leader and a Weston School parent, Julie offers a unique dual perspective that strengthens her commitment to our mission and values.

AMANDA DAVIS

Amanda brings 12 years of dedicated experience in early childhood education. With a degree in Early Childhood Education, Amanda has grown from a classroom teacher to mentor teacher, coach, and director roles, each of which has deepened her commitment to fostering positive learning environments.

She has studied and practiced Conscious Discipline for 8 years and completed training in Trauma- Informed Teaching, including strategies to reduce the effects of trauma and ACES. Amanda is also trained in Strengths-Based Leadership and Coaching and is proficient in utilizing Creative Curriculum, Frog Street Curriculum, and Teaching Strategies GOLD to support high-quality educational outcomes for children.
