The Weston School determines the eligibility of a future employee based upon several interviewing processes. One of these processes is an assessment. This is when a future applicant is scheduled to be observed in several classrooms engaged with children for a period of up to 1 hours (unpaid. The applicant is never used as a substitute for a teacher, placed in the classroom by him or herself, or is considered in the child staff ratio for that day.
The schedule will be determined according to the availability of the applicant. This assessment allows us to observe a future applicant in a childcare setting in various rooms to assess if the applicant has the skill sets required to work in a childcare environment.
The candidate must understand that this is just one segment of our interviewing process. The assessment process or any other interviewing processes of ours is not a guarantee of employment with us.
