● Your child will refine their agility and motor skills through activities such as running, skipping, catching, and dribbling through intentional and planned gross motor activities supporting physical development that will set them up for success as they transition to Kindergarten.
● Fine motor skills are refined through purposeful activities such as writing their name, drawing detailed pictures, using scissors, and manipulating small objects—encouraging independence and control in daily tasks, while preparing for writing and classroom routines in Kindergarten.
At The Weston School, your Pre-K child will master early academic concepts like letter identification, counting, number recognition, and beginning addition and subtraction through playful, hands-on learning that supports Kindergarten readiness.
